About Me
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and supervisor with 25 years of experience in mental health services. I Practice as a cognitive analytic therapist - a relational therapy which offers a balance between structure and problem solving and space for sharing, understanding and learning to manage difficult feelings. Originally trained as a doctor, my work in psychiatry led me to specialize in psychological therapies. After qualifying as a psychotherapist in London in 2000 and as a supervisor in 2005, I worked within the NHS until 2010 before establishing my independent practice.
My extensive background includes working in specialist NHS services across London and Yorkshire, covering trauma, chronic fatigue, psychosexual therapy, and community adult mental health.
