About Me
Counselling/psychotherapy with me can help you to:
- Feel happy with yourself
- Enjoy healthy relationships with other people
- Find a way forward with the situation you are in
I am a thoughtful, caring and down-to-earth counsellor/psychotherapist. I'm open to any aspect of you, your problem or your experience.
I offer the chance for you to feel happier and less stressed/anxious. A place where you can learn about yourself, make sense of why things are the way they are. A space where you can work through difficult or painful feelings.
I work by exploring your world and how life is for you - at your pace.
I am a firm believer in the link between mind and body. I encourage people to pay close attention not only to their thoughts and feelings, but also the sensations, aches, pains and good feelings in their bodies. This is all useful information for figuring out how you are currently coping.
Specialist Expertise
Alongside my broad general practice, I have 18 years experience of supporting people with grief / loss / bereavement, including miscarriage, pregnancy loss, baby and infant loss.
I offer expert one-to-one support for individuals struggling to come to terms with complex, sudden, or a series of painful losses. I work closely with the Miscarriage Association and practice as a specialist Baby and Infant Loss Practitioner, supporting both men and women through all aspects of pregnancy loss, stillbirth, neonatal death, and infertility or IVF pathways.
What to Expect
Our sessions will last for 50 minutes and typically occur weekly. I provide a dedicated, calm, and highly confidential environment here at Harbour Therapy Rooms in Leeds city centre, helping you explore your inner world in a secure professional setting.
I am a recognized registered provider for major private health insurance companies, including Bupa, AXA Health, and Aviva, allowing clients with healthcare coverage to easily access therapy.
